Advanced Control & Display Features

Information Center
The TR1800 Information Center provides constant scanning of motivational feedback: Time, Distance, Speed, Calories, Laps and Hear Rate (available in TR1800HRP version only). It also prompts you when programming your workout. 

Graphic Display Window
Displays the world famous Star Trac 1/4 mile track or a graphic depiction of the hills and valleys in your workout. 

Scan/Lock Key
By pressing the Scan/Lock key, you can lock onto specific motivational feedback pertinent to your fitness goals 

Track/Profile Key
By pressing the Track/Profile key, you can toggle between the track view and your program profile in the Graphic Display Window. 

HR Activation Key
The HR Activation key (available in TR1800HRP version only) is pressed to activate the wireless telemetry heart rate monitoring system. When wearing the chest strap (optional), you can monitor your heart rate to ensure the most most efficient workout, whether your goal is fat burning or cardiovascular improvement. 

Cool Down Key
The cool-down phase of your workout is extremely important to allow blood to be pumped back into the central circulatory system. This build-in feature provides a proper way to end your workout with a two-minute cool-down period at anytime in any program. During this period, speed and include are automatically and gradually reduced to zero. 

Start/Enter Key
Used to enter data and start the exercise routine. 

Speed +/- and Incline Keys
Touch sensitive keys let you adjust your desired speed and incline at anytime during your workout. Speed changes are adjustable by 0.1 mph increments up to 10 mph and incline from 0% to 15%. 

Stop/Pause Key
Universal stop sign design for safer control and operation. Press the Stop key once for a 30-second pause; incline is automatically reduced to 0% and the belt comes to a gradual stop. Press a second time to end your workout. 

Program Select Key
The Program Select key (available on TR1800HRP version only) takes you through different workout options. The program name will appear in the Information Center, and the profile will be shown in the Graphic Display Window. Choose between Manual, three pre-set hill programs, a Mystery Hike offering over 250 different hill and valley configurations, a 5K or 10K race program, or a Custom program which allows you to create your own program utilizing up to 15 intervals. 

Models TR1800S & TR1800HRP
The TR1800 Series Treadmills deliver a wide range of performance advantages over other treadmills at their price point. The TR1800S, whose control panel is shown on the right, is designed for those who prefer basic operating features, while the TR1800HRP offers programmability and a heart rate monitoring system.
Both models come standard with a wider, longer running surface, full side rails with an emergency stop switch (in addition to the keypad stop button) and a logo imprinted
belt for added safety. The patented, single cavity Impact Absorption System, IAS tm,
cushions shock to ankles, knees and back to provide lower impact workout. The 2.5
hp continuous duty motor assembly provides highly efficient power and improved
cooling. The dual-loop speed sensor system controls speed both in the motor and the
motor control board to ensure reliable speed control.
